Error messages
This page lists messages you may see and what to do about each one.
Messages are grouped by what you were doing. The message text is in bold. A few messages in the app have a dash in them. Here the dash is shown as a comma. Some messages name a plan, a number or a time, and these change to suit your case. A message that says only "Not found" means the article, project or item is not in your current workspace. Check that you have the right workspace selected and that it was not deleted.
If a message is not here, or the fix does not work, contact us and tell us the exact words you saw and what you were doing.
Setting up and starting a trial
Please use a permanent email address to start your free trial. Disposable email addresses are not accepted. Sign up with an email address you keep.
You already have a free trial workspace. Subscribe to a paid plan before creating another. Each person gets one trial workspace. Subscribe to a plan if you need another workspace.
Your free trial has already been used. Subscribe to generate more articles.
The free article has been given out once for this account. Choose a plan at /app/settings?tab=billing.
Too many trial sign-ups from this connection today. Try again tomorrow or contact support. Too many trials were started from the same internet connection in one day. Wait a day, or contact us.
Verify your email before generating your free article. Open the email we sent when you signed up and follow its link. Then try again.
Trial generation isn't available for disposable email addresses. The same rule as above. Use a permanent email address.

The site gives out a set number of free articles each day, and today's are used. Try again tomorrow, or choose a plan at /app/settings?tab=billing to start now.

Workspace and access
Select a workspace first
Pick your workspace in the menu at the top of the dashboard. If you have none, set one up at /onboarding.
You don't have permission to do that in this workspace Your role is not allowed to do this. Ask a workspace admin to change your role, or ask them to do it.
Your workspace is read-only while a payment is outstanding. Update your card in Billing to keep generating. A payment failed and has not been fixed. Update your card on the site under Account, Plan. See Credits and billing.
This workspace has used its writing allowance for this billing month. It resets on 18 November. Contact support if you need more now. The workspace has used its fair-use allowance of AI and search data for this billing month. New articles and fix rounds wait until the date shown. Articles already written can still be edited, exported and published. Press Contact support if you need more now.
You've hit the generate limit for now. Try again in about 12 minutes. You did the same action many times in a short time. The message names the action and says how long to wait. Wait that long and try again.
Starting and writing an article
You're out of article credits for this cycle.
You have no credits left. Buy extra articles or upgrade at /app/settings?tab=billing. See Credits and billing.
That article type is not on your plan. Pick a kind of article marked as available, or upgrade. See Writing an article.
This workspace has made its 20 programmatic pages for this month. There is a monthly cap on programmatic pages. Write the page as a local page or a guide, or wait until the 1st of next month. The number in the message is your cap.
Enter a keyword between 2 and 200 characters Shorten or lengthen your focus keyword.
AI writing is resting until 14 Oct 2026, 3:30 pm. Articles and pages made earlier keep working. The site's AI allowance is used up for now. The message names when it resumes. Try again after that time.
The article is not at that step any more. Refresh the page. The article moved on while the page was open. Refresh the page.
Fix these first: Every fact has a source that supports it You pressed "Mark ready to publish" but a blocking check fails. The message lists them. Open the Scores tab and fix each one. See How scoring works.
A blocking problem cannot be dismissed. Fix it, or edit the text. You cannot hide a blocking problem. Fix the text instead.
Finding sources for you is on Essential Plus and above. Your plan does not search for sources. Add pages you trust on the Sources tab. See Sources and fact checking.
A refresh uses one article credit, and there are none left this cycle. Refreshing a published article costs one credit. Buy extra articles or upgrade.
Generate the article before rewriting The article has no text yet. Wait for writing to finish.
Select at least 10 words to rewrite Select a longer piece of text and try again.
Whole-article re-tunes cost 0.25 credits after your 10 free rewrites. You're out of credits. You have used your 10 free rewrites for the month and have no credits left. Rewrite a section or selection instead (these are free), or add credits.
That recording is empty. Record or choose a voice note first. The voice note had no sound. Record it again.
Use an MP3, M4A, WAV, WebM or OGG voice note. The file type is not supported. Convert it, or type your answer.
Publishing and exporting
WordPress publishing is available on Pro plans and above Your plan does not include WordPress publishing. Upgrade, or download the article from the Export tab and paste it into WordPress.
Connect a WordPress site to this project first (Settings → Integrations).
No WordPress site is connected to the article's project. Go to /app/settings?tab=integrations and connect one. See Publishing to WordPress.
3 links or pictures are still a placeholder. Press "Resolve links and pictures" on the article first. The article still has link or picture placeholders. Open the Export tab and press "Resolve links and pictures".
This workspace publishes only signed-off articles. Ask for a review in the Team tab first. Your workspace needs a reviewer's sign-off. Open the Team tab and ask a teammate to review the article.
The article changed after it was signed off. Ask the reviewer to look again before publishing. Someone edited the article after the sign-off. Ask the reviewer to sign off again.
Choose a plan to export, copy or publish this article. It stays saved here. This is your free article. You can read it and see its score and every fix in the app. Copy, Export and Send to WordPress open the plans; choose one, pay on the site's checkout, and you come back to the article with all three open. See Credits and billing.
Your WordPress blocked the request, check the Application Password. WordPress said no. The Application Password may be wrong, deleted, or blocked by a security plugin. Make a new one in WordPress and connect again.
We couldn't reach your WordPress site, check the URL and try again.
Check the site address for typos, and make sure the site is online. Include https://.
Your WordPress refused the picture upload. The Application Password needs a user who can upload files (Author or above). The WordPress user is too limited. Use a user with the Author role or higher.
Your WordPress rejected the post (HTTP 400). Check the site and try again. WordPress refused the post. The number is WordPress's own status. Check that the site is working and that the REST API is on.
That WordPress address isn't allowed. The address points to somewhere SEO-AI cannot connect to. Use your public site address.
Billing

Overage articles are available on paid plans Extra articles are for paid plans. Subscribe to a plan first.
End your current plan on the site first, under Account, Plan. Your articles and credits stay. Then pick the new plan here. You already hold a plan. Cancel it on the site under Account, Plan, then choose the new one on the Billing tab.
Your plan has ended. Choose a plan to keep writing. The site says you no longer hold a plan (it was cancelled, or a renewal payment did not go through). Choose a plan on the Billing tab. Your articles are not deleted.
Choose between 1 and 50 overage articles Pick a number of extra articles from 1 to 50.
