SEO-AI Terms of Service
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
SEO-AI is an add-on to the DrawSync website platform. It is sold by PineSeed Pty Ltd, Queensland, Australia ("PineSeed", "we", "us").
These terms are the agreement between PineSeed and the person or business that uses SEO-AI ("you"). If you use SEO-AI for a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these terms.
SEO-AI researches page one of Google for a keyword, writes an article in your voice, scores it with RankScore, and can publish it to your WordPress site. It also includes free SEO tools, a rank tracker that uses Google Search Console, site health crawls, and Site Submission Autopilot. Autopilot submits a business to search engines and directories.
Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, AI Content Policy and Data Retention schedule form part of these terms. If you are a business customer that needs a data processing agreement, see section 17.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You sign in with your member account on the website that offers SEO-AI. That account is provided by the DrawSync platform. SEO-AI receives your member id, email address and display name from it.
Your work happens in workspaces. A workspace has one owner and can have team members. The owner gives each team member a role. The owner is responsible for who has access, and for what team members do in the workspace.
You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. Tell us through the Contact support button in SEO-AI if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian accept these terms for you.
3. Plans, prices and auto-renewal
SEO-AI is sold as monthly subscriptions. The plans on sale are Starter, Pro and Agency. Customers already on Essential Plus or Enterprise keep their plan. Each plan includes a number of article credits each month. There is no yearly plan.
Prices are in Australian dollars. The line under the prices says whether GST is included, or that GST does not apply.
You buy a plan through the checkout of the site you signed up on. That site takes the payment, through its payment processor, and emails your receipt. SEO-AI never sees your card. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel: the site charges your card each month on the renewal date until you cancel under Account, Plan. By subscribing, you authorise those charges. The checkout tells you the price, the currency and when the next charge will happen before you pay.
If a renewal payment fails, the site may try the card again. While the site says you hold the plan, your monthly credits keep arriving. If the site ends the plan, paid features stop until you choose a plan again.
If we change the price of your plan, section 18 applies.
4. Credits and rollover
An article credit pays for one article. Your plan adds its monthly credits to your workspace balance when each billing period starts.
Unused credits roll over for one month. After that they expire. For example, credits added in January that are not used can still be used in February, and expire at the end of February.
Credits have no cash value. They cannot be transferred to another workspace or paid out.
You can also buy extra articles as one-off purchases. Extra articles follow the same rollover and expiry rule unless the checkout page says something different.
Your workspace shows your credit balance and a ledger of credits added and used.
5. Free trial
Each person can have one free article, up to 1,500 words, and no card is needed. You can read it and see its score and fixes in SEO-AI. Exporting, copying and publishing it need a plan.
To stop repeat use, we check for an earlier trial using your IP address, your email domain and how many free articles the site has given out that day, and the site may ask you to pass a robot check. If the check shows an earlier trial or the day's free articles are used, we may refuse the free article automatically. You can ask a person to review that decision by using the Contact support button in SEO-AI.
The trial does not turn into a paid plan unless you choose a plan and pay for it.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time on the site under Account, Plan. You do not need to contact us.
When you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. It then stops renewing. Your articles stay readable. Credits you have left stay available until they expire under section 4.
We do not refund the unused part of a period just because you cancelled. Section 7 does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Refunds
There is no money-back guarantee. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded. If a consumer guarantee applies and has not been met, we will give the remedy the law requires, which may be a repair, a replacement, a refund or compensation.
If a payment is refunded or disputed, we remove the unused credits that payment bought. If the credits were already used, we may recover their value where the law allows.
Payment disputes are handled through the site's checkout. Please contact us first through the Contact support button in SEO-AI, because we can often fix the problem faster than a dispute can.
If an article fails and cannot be finished, we give its credit back.
The Refund Policy explains how to ask for a refund.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use SEO-AI to:
- run spam networks or send spam;
- create doorway pages;
- publish scraped or plagiarised content as if it were original;
- impersonate a person or business;
- create or publish illegal content;
- overload the service, or try to get around its limits;
- reverse-engineer the service, or try to extract its source code or models;
- resell the results of the free tools in bulk.
You must follow the terms of the services you connect, such as Google, Microsoft Bing, WordPress and the directories you submit to.
We may remove content or suspend use that breaks this section. See section 14.
9. Your content and your responsibility
"Your content" means what you put into SEO-AI and what it produces for you. That includes keywords, briefs, articles and their versions, voice profiles, writing samples, experience vault items, photos, author and reviewer profiles, and submission details.
Articles are written by large language models, which run through the website's AI service. They can make mistakes. SEO-AI only takes facts and statistics from sources the engine cites, and a fact-check pass compares claims with those sources. This reduces errors. It does not remove them.
You are responsible for checking every article before you publish it. You are responsible for what you publish, including that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe anyone's rights.
Health, money, legal and safety content (often called YMYL content) must be reviewed by a qualified person before publication. SEO-AI lets you name a reviewer on an article. Naming a reviewer does not replace the review.
SEO-AI does not claim that content is undetectable by AI detectors. It does not help you bypass AI detectors. It does not promise any ranking. Search engines decide rankings, and we do not control them.
Each workspace can switch on an "AI-assisted" disclosure line that is added to articles. It is off by default. The workspace owner sets it in workspace Settings. You are responsible for deciding whether you must disclose AI use to your readers, platforms or clients. See the AI Content Policy.
10. Ownership and licence
You own your content, including the articles SEO-AI produces for you, to the extent the law allows. We make no claim to it.
PineSeed owns the SEO-AI software, its scoring methods, its design and its documentation. These terms do not transfer any of that to you. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SEO-AI while your access is active.
You give PineSeed a licence to process your content for one purpose: to provide the service to you. That includes storing it, sending it to the services listed in SUB-PROCESSORS.md, and showing it back to you. We may also use aggregated metrics, which do not identify you, to improve quality. We do not sell your personal information.
We cannot promise that two customers will not receive similar text, because the same sources and topics can lead to similar articles.
11. Third-party services
SEO-AI relies on other providers, and connects to accounts you own. These include AI providers, search data providers, the site's checkout and its payment processor (Stripe), Google, Microsoft, WordPress sites, and listing vendors. Our sub-processor list shows who they are and what they receive.
When you connect your WordPress site, Google Search Console or Microsoft Bing, you give SEO-AI permission to act on that account for the features you use. We store the connection details encrypted. You can disconnect at any time. Their terms apply to your use of their services. We are not responsible for their outages, changes or decisions.
Directory and search engine submissions are requests. The directory or search engine decides whether to accept them. We do not promise that a listing will be accepted, kept or shown.
12. Availability and support
We aim to keep SEO-AI available and will use best efforts to do so. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can.
Some features depend on other providers, such as search data or AI services. If a provider is down, those features may be slow or unavailable.
Support is through the Contact support button in SEO-AI.
13. Free tools
The free tools are provided as they are. We may limit how often they can be used. We keep the inputs and results for 90 days, with a one-way hash of your IP address, as set out in the Data Retention schedule. You must not use the free tools in bulk to build your own product or to resell their results.
14. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if you do not pay, if your use puts the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you time to fix the problem. We may act at once where there is a security risk or an unlawful use.
You may stop using SEO-AI at any time. The workspace owner can delete the workspace. When the owner deletes a workspace, everything in it is deleted at once, as shown in the Data Retention schedule. We cannot recover it afterwards. Export what you need before you delete.
Sections that by their nature continue after the agreement ends will continue. This includes ownership, liability and governing law.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Consumer guarantees apply to consumers and cannot be excluded.
For a business customer, and to the extent the law allows:
- we provide SEO-AI without any warranty other than those implied by law that cannot be excluded;
- where a consumer guarantee cannot be excluded for a business customer, our liability for breaching it is limited, at our choice, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again;
- our total liability to you for all claims arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim;
- we are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost ranking, lost traffic, lost data or indirect loss.
We are not liable for how search engines treat your content, or for loss caused by content you publish without checking it.
You are responsible for loss we suffer because you break these terms or because content you supply infringes someone's rights.
16. Privacy
We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy. You must have the right to give us any personal information about other people that you put into SEO-AI, such as a business owner's name and phone number for a directory submission.
17. Data processing agreement
If you are a business customer and need us to act as your processor under privacy law, for example under the GDPR, ask for our data processing agreement through the Contact support button in SEO-AI. The template is in DPA-TEMPLATE.md.
18. Changes to these terms and to prices
We may change these terms or our prices. For a material change, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email to the workspace owner and by a notice in the product. The change takes effect at the end of the notice period.
If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect. If you do, your plan runs to the end of the paid period and the new terms do not apply to you for that period. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you accept it.
We may make a change straight away if the law requires it, or if it is a change that does not harm you, such as fixing a typing mistake.
19. General
These terms are the whole agreement about SEO-AI between you and us. If part of them is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we do not give it up. You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign them to a company that takes over the business, and we will tell you.
Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your member account. Notices to us go through the Contact support button in SEO-AI.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth courts that sit there. This does not limit rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law to bring a claim in another place.
